Emma and I got home from
dance recital rehearsal and went to the barn to check on the
goats to find Black
Shire Summer Evening Star
had
kidded. She had quadruplets!! Two girls and two
boys. The biggest boy is 4 pounds and two smallest are
1.5 pounds each. Emma let us pick these names, so we
have Somethin
Special's Solar Eclipse,
Somethin Special's
Halley's Comet,
Somethin Special's
Shooting Star, and
unfortuneatly the smallest little girl did not make it.

We bought a
livestock guardian dog. Her name is Belle and she
is a Great Pyrenees. She will get quite big when she
is full grown and will be all white. As a puppy she
has some markings, but those will fade.
